Auricularia (Jew’s ear, elder ear mushroom) is valued in Chinese medicine for its broad range of effects on the human body. It is rich in minerals, vitamins, and polysaccharides and, among other substances, is a source of antioxidant melanin.

Our Auricularia is grown on an organic substrate. The substrate consists of an organic mixture of sawdust, organic wheat bran, cane sugar, and natural gypsum. We use fruiting bodies to produce our extracts.

Auricularia is valued for its broad range of effects. Auricularia contains large amounts of minerals, vitamins, and polysaccharides‒ beta-glucans and fiber. It is also a source of essential amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids, as well as antioxidant melanin and many other substances. Free from natural substances, additives, and preservatives.

About Auricularia

Auricularia (Auricularia polytricha) is a mushroom that grows on tree trunks, most commonly on birch. Its fruiting bodies grow up to 10 cm, are flexible and pliable, resemble an earlobe (in English, it is also called the ear jelly fungus), and are most commonly reddish-brown. Auricularia can also be found in our forests, from March to December. Auricularia is an important part of Asian cuisine, thanks to its appearance and consistency. Up to 500,000 tons are cultivated in Asia.

Dosage

• 1–3 g daily, with a minimum half-hour interval from meals; mix in approximately 1 dcl of water and drink (1 level teaspoon = 2 g of powder).
• We recommend taking it for 5 days each week and skipping 2 days.
• Take on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal).
• When taking medicinal mushrooms, we recommend increasing your intake of vitamin C, which improves the absorption of active substances. For example, in the form of Brazilian cherry acerola extract.
