Effects of Cordyceps

In traditional Chinese medicine, it strengthens yang and the essence of the kidneys and the yin of the lungs. The kidneys are considered the source of all energy, and so is Cordyceps. Cordyceps supports reproduction and libido and is an excellent adaptogen that helps the body adapt to a changing environment and maintain harmony.

Our Cordyceps is cultivated in a nutrient solution based on cane sugar and crushed beans, ensuring the highest quality and purity. The result is Cordyceps mycelium that is rich in beta-glucans, minerals, trace elements and vitamins and is a powerful natural means of supporting health and vitality.

Cordyceps (Chinese caterpillar fungus, Cordyceps sinensis) grows at altitudes above 3,500 metres, mainly in Tibet.

The mushroom is collected from April to August, but due to its declining occurrence in the wild, it is now very rare.

Over the past 25 years, its occurrence has declined by 90%, increasing its market value. The best Cordyceps comes from the Tibetan Plateau, and its price can reach up to USD 100 for four pieces, equivalent to approximately CZK 500 per 0.5 grams.

Cordyceps has been valued for centuries in traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine. Ancient stories tell of yak herders who noticed that animals grazing on Cordyceps were stronger, healthier, and more vigorous.

Guaranteed beta-1,3/1,6-glucan content of at least 30%

Normal dosage: 1–3 capsules per day
